EXPERIENCE CHINA PEAK
HASSLE FREE SKIING & RIDING,
THE WAY IT USED TO BE.
You probably haven't heard of China Peak, or even if you have, you haven't been here. Frankly there hasn't been a reason to look south of Lake Tahoe... until now. With jaw dropping traffic on weekends and lift ticket prices approaching $200, it might be time to look for an alternative that offers what you want - good snow, a variety of solid terrain, no lines, no traffic and fair prices. A privately owned resort, rare enough these days, and an experience that takes you back to a time when skiing and riding was a lot more hassle free, just good skiing and good times. That pretty much describes China Peak, owned and operated by a 40 year ski veteran, 20 years in Lake Tahoe, who knows what a good experience is supposed to be.
TRAFFIC
Sick of the bumper-2-bumper, slow, and heavy weekend traffic? When headed to China peak, you'll be headed in the other direction!
SNOW
Like most Sierra resorts, China Peak gets great snow. And then, there's our new multi-million dollar snowmaking system.
MOUNTAIN
Tahoe resorts, regardless of size, usually ski/ride in sections of 800 to 1,500 vertical feet. China Peak is a continuous 1,600!
LIFTS
Well, we don't have any high-speed lifts. But then, you won't wait in any lift lines either. Which is nice.
VIBE
Simple, friendly and fun! A high quality ski & ride experience at a fair price.
